My name is Emily and I have the amazing opportunity of Dispatching bus teams for the special needs children of Genesee County via The Genesee Intermediate School District.

Our teams are some of the best. Giving selflessly to these children and their families, and now, one of our own is in need of help.

P.B. (Not to be confused with PB&J but just as sweet) has encountered a devastating loss of her home of 30+ years. A complete loss. Patty, unfortunately was uninsured at the time of the house fire and has an immediate need for her and her son.

Patty B is as gifted and giving as they come, noted by her continuous volunteering and dedication to the children on her route. She’s a shining star at the ISD and the place wouldn’t be complete without her short in stature but large in kindness ways.

I had to physically track her down today to confirm the news. She didn’t want to burden a soul with her situation. I also had her tearful today when I expressed what an outpouring of concerns were coming from our staff to assist with her situation and recovery.

If you are able in anyway financially to assist her starting completely over, I plead with you to do so today. If you are unable, please pass along to your family and friends.

She hasn’t skipped a beat at work. I am beyond amazed at this beautiful human being. This is a time to shine light and love to her and her son.
