Help Patty and Her 8 Year Old Find a New Home

Hey everyone, I am a high school (DeLand) friend of Patty Stieglitz and am trying to help raise funds to get her the help she needs to find a new home for her and her 8-year-old.

She lost her rental home and most of their belongings due to the flooding in DeLand. The rental company will not give her deposit back. They’re saying she needs to move out so they can assess the damages she may or may not have incurred on the home. Seriously??

She's staying with a friend at the moment, but this is not a solution for her and her 8-year-old's future while they are displaced and waiting for somewhere to live.

The rental agent is offering her another home way out of her price range, and they know it is. She cannot afford the move-in costs anywhere it will require, without her deposit.

I am reaching out to our community to help Patty. She’s been a lifetime resident of the area and could really use our help, if you’re able to help.

So many people have been affected by Hurricane Milton. If you can help in any way, please consider getting them the financial assistance they need to get back on their feet.
