Seven months ago, my best friend's wife, Patti Cassell, suffered a massive stroke that took her ability to speak, move her right side, and care for herself. Patti's loss was more than physical; it has been devastating emotionally and financially. I’ve watched their family walk through this storm with deep faith and unshakable courage, leaning on God every step of the way.
Today, Patti is walking again, moving her arm, and slowly regaining her speech. It’s been a powerful, grueling, yet inspiring seven months. There has been so much progress in such a short time. But there’s so much more work to be done.
This summer, she’s been accepted into The Aphasia Center in St. Petersburg, Florida—one of the top programs in the country to help stroke survivors communicate again. We are in the final push to raise the last $20K that she needs to join this program. Travis needs to raise this money by May 15th so Patti doesn't lose her spot in the program.
Will you help me stand with Patti and Travis and join their fight so Patti can find her voice again? With your help, one day soon she will be able to share in regular conversations with her kids, family and friends.
Every gift matters and every prayer helps.
