I am asking for help as I face a new and unexpected medical journey. In 2023, I went through breast cancer and completed chemotherapy and radiation. I was grateful to make it through that difficult season, but now I am dealing with a new set of serious health problems that have turned my life upside down.

On February 9, I was admitted to the hospital for a week with pneumonia, a high fever, and fluid in my left lung. While I was there, I was also diagnosed with AFib. After I was discharged, I had to return to the hospital two more times because of shortness of breath, and doctors found fluid in my right lung as well. Since then, I have been referred to a cardiac doctor and have now been diagnosed with aortic stenosis. I need to have a heart valve replacement, and the appointments, procedures, and testing are already scheduled. On top of the physical toll, I am also dealing with a new level of anxiety as I try to process everything that is happening.

I am starting this fundraiser because I need help paying my bills while I focus on my health and the care ahead.
