Patsy has always been the heart of her family and community. For decades, she poured her life into teaching—shaping young minds, guiding students through their toughest moments, and offering encouragement to anyone who needed it. At home, she has been the steady, loving presence her children and grandchildren leaned on through every season of life. She is the kind of woman who shows up for everyone, without ever asking for anything in return.

Recently, Patsy’s world was shattered by a devastating family crisis. After the truth came to light, her husband was imprisoned, leaving her suddenly alone with no financial security. Everything—home, accounts, retirement income—was in his name. Overnight, she found herself without resources, stability, or a plan for what comes next. On top of the emotional trauma, Patsy is facing major practical challenges. Her declining health means she needs to relocate to assisted living. These changes are happening fast and at a time when she is emotionally and physically vulnerable. Our family is doing everything we can, but the needs are simply larger than what we can cover on our own.
