On Wednesday, May 24, our friend Patryk was cycling home from Courtown. A car traveling at high speed hit him hard from behind.

Patrick is still in the intensive care unit.

He underwent surgery on his right leg, which was broken in two places (femur and fibula). Doctors had to connect the bones with screws.

There is also a damaged (cracked) back part of the skull.

In addition to the leg, he has many internal complications, the main one being pulmonary embolism.

Patrick is still in intensive care.

If his condition stabilizes, he will need a long rehabilitation to return to full fitness.
