Hi, my name is Patrina Miller, and I’m a new homeowner in Inglewood, California. My dream home was flooded with sewage water after a city-contracted hydrojetting operation went terribly wrong. My home was contaminated.

Since then, I’ve been caught in a nightmare. The insurance companies involved — Tokio Marine Specialty Insurance, Philadelphia Insurance, and Sedgwick — have delayed, deflected responsibility. Instead of treating the damage as sewage blowback, they minimized it as simple water damage and offered pennies — not enough to fix even a single room, let alone restore my home.
This incident happened on September 27, 2024. I’m now at risk of foreclosure while still fighting for justice. I’ve had to use every resource just to survive. The emotional toll and financial burden are overwhelming.
I’m asking for your help.
I’m raising $24,135.66 to prevent foreclosure and stay afloat while this legal fight continues.
This is not a fight I wanted, but I’m doing everything I can to survive and protect what’s mine.
