Help Patrick's family recover from the Eaton fires
Donation protected
My name is Patrick, and my mother Patricia and my brother Philip are all victims of the Eaton fires in Altadena, California.
Our house was destroyed in the fire. We lost everything. We were able to get out of the house with some clothes and our phones.
Our sister is letting us stay with her family temporarily. She is helping us with food, makeshift beds, and emergency clothes. I am very grateful and want to pay her back. Her whole family got sick, as well as my mother and my brother. I may be next.
Shortly after the evacuation, my elderly mother ended up getting very sick and has been in the hospital for a week. The outlook is not good. She doesn't want to eat because it makes her uncomfortable.
I went back to the property, and you can see in the photo that everything was destroyed. It may take years to rebuild our home.
We are trying to find a place to stay for myself, my brother, my mother, and our small dog.
We need funds for food, medication, gasoline, clothes, toiletries, dog food, beds and bedding, computer peripherals like keyboards, mice, monitors, and power supply cords; furniture like couches, desks, and chairs; kitchen supplies like pots, pans, dishes, and cutlery; tools like screwdrivers, wrenches, hammers; books and bookcases; a television; and a computer for my mother.
Anything you can help with is greatly appreciated.
The outpouring of the community at the donation centers has been amazing.
Thank you so much for reading.
