Help Patrick's Children Pay for Final Expenses

Hello, my name is Amy McLaughlin, and I am setting up this fundraiser to help Patrick McLaughlin's children, Brandon, Trisha, Chelsea, Ian, and his stepdaughter Tori pay for his final expenses.

 

Patrick was diagnosed in November 2021 with hepatocellular and cholangiocarcinoma (cancer of the liver and bile duct). On January 6th, 2022, at Hershey Medical Center, he underwent a 12-hour surgery that successfully removed the cancerous tissue. On January 7th, Patrick endured a second surgery to remove a blood clot that had formed and repair some other issues. All that he went through placed a lot of stress on his body. On January 10th, another blood clot had formed and there were not any surgical options left for him. On January 11th at 6:35 a.m. Patrick departed this world with family and friends by his side.

 

Anyone who knew Pat knows how generous he was and how much he helped people he loved as well as people he barely knew. He was a hardworking man, a loving father and son, and a loyal friend. A man with a sense of humor, a love of nature, and a compassionate heart. Patrick will be missed terribly by all who knew him.

 

Please help his children through this difficult time by easing some of the financial burden that has been thrust upon them. All of the money collected from this fundraiser will go toward Patrick's final expenses. Brandon McLaughlin, Patrick's oldest son, will be handling the distribution of all funds raised.
