Help Patrick Train His Service Dog!
A vivacious, wacky, creative 11 year old, our Patrick is one fabulous kid!!
Unfortunately PTSD and severe anxiety keep Patrick from enjoying life and learning the way a kid should. As his PTSD has developed we see less and less of that relaxed happy child.
A service dog will help Patrick fully experience life and learn to the best of his abilities. Patrick has episodes where he loses consciousness. When he wakes up he is often scared, confused, and lost. Regaining consciousness with his service dog by his side to help can keep Patrick calm and safe from harm. A service dog can also help Patrick have fewer of those episodes by intervening before the episode occurs. 
The professional training required for a service dog is expensive. To save money, we are doing the basic obedience training at home before sending the dog to the professional trainer. We plan to have the dog trained by Compass Key. You can get more information about them at ckdogs.com.
