Help Patrick recover from his injuries

Hi everyone, after taking council with friends and family Patrick decided to open up a fundraiser seeking support from the community to help him recover from his injuries and maintain some basic quality of life during this difficult time. On the 23rd of May Patrick was assaulted by three unknown attackers and suffered major injury to his right leg breaking his fibula, tibia and ankle. Patrick underwent emergency surgery and had a metal rod implanted into his tibia that surgeons used to reconnect and stabilize the broken bones. The pain has been overwhelming and he is not expected to fully recover for six to twelve months. Patrick is self employed operating a cybersecurity testing company called Uppercut Red Team.  He enjoys spending time with his friends at the Irish Pub and hanging out with his girlfriend Ona and her daughter Aurora. He is an avid motorcyclist, kind of a nerd and loves to laugh and have fun. The incident has impacted his ability to maintain regular life and work obligations. Although he will certainly recover, the financial burdens of regular life and additional expenses of medical bills and assisted travel are quickly adding up to be too expensive.
