Help Patrick: Recover from Crash and Loss of Vehicle
Donation protected
My name is Patrick Vigil, in the early morning hours of the 4th of July, while I was relocating from New Mexico to Arizona, I was involved in a serious automobile accident while driving down Wolf Creek Pass, my vehicle ended up in a ditch and it landed upside down and was not easily visible from the road, I was trapped inside my vehicle for over an hour before help arrived, I am very lucky to be alive and I'm in the hospital in Pagosa Springs with minor facial and neck injuries. When the accident happened, I was relocating from New Mexico to Arizona to live out of my Camping Van and start up a business as an Artist, Sculptor and Jewelry Maker, and to enjoy the beauty of the Desert Southwest and draw inspiration from it. I was traveling with my cat, he survived the accident, but he ran away when the noise from the rescue started and is still missing. My camping van was totaled and was full of all of my possessions... my clothing, sculpting and jewelry making tools and equipment, and camping equipment, I'm not sure of how much of my stuff is salvageable. All funds raised will be used to help pay any hospital bills not covered by my insurance, find temporary shelter after I'm out of the hospital, recover my possessions from impound and either rent a truck to complete my trip to Arizona, or if enough funds are raised, buy a vehicle to replace my camping van. I also need to get new eyeglasses which were broken in the accident. Any donations received will be greatly appreciated and will be used wisely, thank you.
