Help Brother Bear Bounce Back!

My name is Phoenyx and I am Patrick Harney's (Brother Bear) partner. I have created this fundraiser on behalf of him. As many of you already know, Patrick herniated a disc in his neck in January 2024. This injury occurred while giving deep tissue massage.

Aside from roasting coffee for the last 22 years, Patrick has also been a licensed massage therapist for the last 10 years. It has been a long road of recovery for Patrick. He, thankfully, was able to avoid surgery through physical therapy, chiropractic sessions, and massage, but, he is still experiencing limitations that has made life very difficult. One of the biggest difficulties being the need to completely close his massage business, which accounted for a large amount of Patrick's income. Income in which allowed him to not only makes ends meet, but, also stay stocked up on unroasted coffee beans, maintain his vintage roaster, and continue his vision of rehabilitating his 5 acre farm.

Patrick purchased a mobile food trailer and converted it into a mobile espresso bar Spring of 2023. The trailer had been gaining momentum, but, his injury in January also put a halt to that. Recently, repairs had to be made to the espresso machine, which accrued a pretty hefty bill. Everything is up and running smoothly now, so Patrick is just waiting on the approval from the health department. Once that happens, he is ready to go and hoping the espresso bar will start generating enough income to help get things back on track. So, that's what's been happening and here's what the funds will be used for:

1. Catching up on bills

2. Continuing chiropractic and massage appointments (things that have helped his recovery tremendously)

4. Stocking up on coffee beans

5. Purchasing a new coffee roaster (his current one breaks down a few times a year and it is getting harder and harder to find replacement parts and ways to fix it)
