Help Patrick Petty and his family
Donation protected
The Pettys will tell you that the most important part of their holidays is family, togetherness and love. Since they have all that covered, let's help this family in the one area they need it right now...
On Nov. 5, a kids' birthday party hosted at a trampoline place turned tragic for Patrick when he fell and shattered both his wrists, broke his left arm, and suffered a concussion. Besides being in an immense amount of physical pain, Patrick also learned the heartbreaking news that his injuries would prevent him from participating in wrestling -- his greatest passion -- for at least the remainder his 8th-grade year.
Since the evening of his accident, Patrick has now been diagnosed with even more injuries, including brain damage. This requires him to be on constant meds and to restrict all movement -- which is only the beginning of the long journey towards healing.
Patrick requires around-the-clock care -- which is not only extremely frustrating for this usually-active teen, but is also physically and FINANCIALLY draining for his parents, Maria and Omar.
Not only are the medical bills stacking up, but Maria and Omar are having to work to stay home and care for their son.
Maria and Omar are also the parents of 3 other amazing children (who need their time and attention throughout this difficult time), are active members of their community, and are both highly-respected employees at their workplaces. This campaign was started by Maria's employer who has recognized her as a valued member of the team since she was 14 years old, and considers Maria and her whole family very special.
