My name is Patrick, and I am asking for your help to keep my wife, Olga, here with me.
I am a 72-year-old U.S. citizen, and my health is not good. My wife Olga is 60 years old, and she has been by my side for 25 years. She has lived in the United States for 26 years. She is not just my wife—she is my caregiver, my support, and the person who helps me through each day.
Together, we have built our life here. This is our home, where all our memories are.
Our family has already experienced deep tragedy. Six years ago, I lost my son, James, at just 35 years old. Olga stood by me through that heartbreaking loss. We supported each other through grief, and it made our bond even stronger.
For more than 18 years, Olga has been trying to resolve her immigration status. In 2011, an immigration judge granted her withholding of removal, which allows her to stay and work legally in the United States. She has always followed the law and recently renewed her work authorization through 2029.
Now, we are facing a terrifying situation. We tried to file a stay of removal, but it was not accepted because her passport expired many years ago. Without a valid passport, we cannot move forward, even though we are trying to do everything the right way.
We have been told that Olga could be deported to a third country—a place she has never been, where she has no family, no home, and no support. I cannot imagine losing her or being left alone, especially in my condition.
We are asking for humanitarian help. This is not just about legal paperwork. This is about a husband who depends on his wife, about a marriage of 25 years, and about staying together after everything we have already been through.
We are also asking if anyone in the media or any journalists would be willing to hear our story and help bring attention to our situation. We are hoping that by sharing our story, someone may be able to help us.
We need help to cover legal expenses, attorney fees, and immigration costs that we cannot manage alone.
Please, if you can, help us stay together. Any support or even sharing our story would mean the world to us.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
With gratitude,
Patrick & Olga ❤️
