Help Support Patrick (“Build-a-Bear”) After Life-Changing Surgery

Our dear friend and beloved Growlr Live streamer, Build-a-Bear (aka Patrick), needs our help.

On March 24th, Patrick underwent a scheduled back surgery that tragically left him paralyzed from the waist down. Doctors tried two additional surgeries to reverse the paralysis, but without success. Soon after, he developed a severe infection caused by a bedsore, requiring two more surgeries and a transfer to a long-term care facility in Ontario—far from his home in Palm Springs.

In the coming weeks, Patrick will either be moved again or sent home, where he’ll need major accessibility modifications. His only family is his 85-year-old mother in Arizona, who cannot travel to assist him.

Patrick is now facing overwhelming medical challenges, bills, rent, and the financial burden of adapting to this new reality. He needs our support more than ever.
