For the last 23 years, Patrick Freivald has served his community as a dedicated public school teacher. Whether it's leading the high school robotics team in state competitions, or helping students master physics and general science, Patrick has lent his passion and skill to teaching future generations, twice named Teacher of the Year by his school's National Honors Society.

Unfortunately, that isn't good enough for the MAGA mob. Patrick has received hundreds of death threats, was doxxed on national television, and had his livelihood directly attacked by hordes of cancel culture vultures because of his outspoken defense of marginalized communities, effective vaccines, and his disdain toward the sacred cows of right wing politics. Despite having nothing to do with his job as a teacher, Patrick was forced to resign solely because of how he exercised his 1st Amendment right to free speech on his social media accounts. Libel and slander has sought to keep him from getting any job, or even running his own business. His students were denied the benefit of his instruction to accommodate the demands of violent individuals who don't live anywhere near his community, who were angry that Patrick refused to sugarcoat the truth. He's lost his job, his retiree healthcare, and a huge chunk of his pension for standing up to the MAGA machine.

Patrick is a brilliant man, and those who know him also know he will bounce back, but even if he gets another job in education, he'll never recover what he lost. Anything you can do to help will show the right-wing MAGA mob that they can't cancel the truth.
