Support Patrick and His Family in Their Time of Need

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

I am reaching out on behalf of Patrick, his wife, and their three children, who are facing an incredibly challenging and heartbreaking situation.

Patrick's Story

In the spring of 2023, Patrick started a new job, excited about the opportunity to provide for his family. Tragically, a few weeks later, he was involved in a serious bicycling accident, resulting in a concussion and a severe shoulder injury. That fall, after deer hunting, Patrick began experiencing symptoms of Lyme disease. These symptoms were compounded when he contracted COVID-19 a few weeks later.

Job Loss

This series of unfortunate events caused a rapid and severe decline in Patrick's health, including debilitating fatigue, brain fog, insomnia, and unintended weight loss. Most recently and devastatingly, Patrick was unexpectedly let go from his job, despite his efforts to work through his symptoms and provide for his family.

The Current Struggle

Patrick is currently fighting to get proper medical treatment for Lyme disease for which he will have to travel out of town. Though applying for unemployment benefits, the financial burden of medical bills, everyday expenses, and the stress of finding a new job is overwhelming for him and his family.
