Hello friends,

my name is Kyleigh Montgomery and I’m the daughter of Patrick Montgomery. My dad was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in November of 2017. He has been fighting hard ever since. He is a very kind, funny and caring man, a talented musician and an amazing father. If you know him, you love him. He has undergone the Whipple procedure, chemo therapy, y90 procedure and most recently, radiation. Unfortunately the cancer has now spread to his liver, spine, ribs, hips, groin, and some muscle tissue. This is causing him excruciating pain, so much so that he is barely able to get out of bed and finding a comfortable position has become nearly impossible. On Tuesday August, 10, 2021 we admitted my dad to the hospital to get his pain under control and have CT scans done. The scans confirmed what we already knew and showed that the tumors are growing somewhat rapidly. The doctors and nurses have been working very hard to find a solution for his pain, to make him as comfortable as possible . We were thankfully able to come home from the hospital yesterday 8/17/21, with the help of hospice. He is very happy to be home with family. This has been a very difficult time for our family for many reasons, manly seeing our loved one in this extreme amount of pain and not having the means to help. We appreciate all the love and support received and are extremely thankful for any donation to get my dad the care and comfort he deserves.
