Help our Family and Friends Recover from Hurricane Melissa

My name is Patricia Dixon. I have lived in Riverview, FL, with my three children since 2004. Many of my Jamaican family and friends, including my mother, sisters, and blind brother, are all stuck in the horrors of Hurricane Melissa in Black River area of Jamaica/Shrewsburry.

This hurricane has left many of our loved ones and neighbors devastated. Homes have been destroyed, power is out, and basic necessities like food, water, and medicine are running low. Families who once had everything will now be struggling to rebuild their lives from the ground up.

We're raising funds to directly support family and friends who were impacted by the storm—providing emergency supplies, temporary housing, clean water, and help with repairs/recovery. Every dollar will go towards helping those affected get back on their feet.
