Help Patricia & Vanna with Cancer & Hospice Care

On June 18th, 2021, Patricia Zaragoza fell in her home. After coming to the ER, she was diagnosed on June 24th, 2021 with metastatic breast cancer that had advanced to other parts of her body, including her lungs, spine & brain.

She is currently in critical care and will require 24/7 caregiver assistance once discharged from the hospital. I, Vanna, her only daughter in Washington, am preparing her for assisted hospice care.

Patricia is a Filipina women who immigrated to the United States through nursing and has been in practice as an RN for over 43 years. Right up until her fall, she had been operating her own at-home visit nursing business to various living situations on Pierce County. She is very involved and a well loved matriarch by the Catholic community at Holy Disciples Catholic Church.

So many people have expressed interest in helping Patricia & myself however they can. We greatly appreciate every single text, email, message, visit, phone call, etc. and we thank you for your patience with responses during this time. Please do not call Vanna directly as they are focused on supporting and planning her mother’s care.
