Patricia's son Rick is critically ill in Iowa, unresponsive, hospitalized, and undergoing intensive testing while doctors work tirelessly to diagnose his condition. His mother, living in Washington State, needs to be by his side to advocate for his care and offer him the comfort and support only a parent can provide.

We are raising funds to cover Patricia’s essential travel, lodging, and car rental so she can stay close to Rick during this emergency.

In the last 3 months his health has deteriorated and now his body is failing. The doctors need Patricia there to oversee his health and medical needs, and Mom and son need each other at this heartbreaking time.
