Help patients @ Nationwide Children's Hospital

In November of 2018, our then 2 ½ year old daughter Leighton gained inspiration from one of her most prized stuffed animals and favorite holiday books to launch a campaign of giving to the young patients spending the holidays at Nationwide Children’s Hospital (NCH) in our hometown of Columbus, Ohio. Leighton’s goal was to make sure that every little boy and girl spending the holidays at Nationwide Children’s Hospital would have the comfort of a stuffed animal at their bedside when they woke up Christmas morning, just as she would at home. Along with the help of her older brother Reid, teachers, friends, family and local businesses Leighton and Reid were able to donate over 150 new stuffed animals to the patients at Nationwide Children’s hospital in December of 2018.

Since the inaugural year of organizing their holiday giving campaign, Leighton and Reid have continued on their crusade to spread joy and cheer to the patients at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Over the last four holiday seasons Leighton and Reid have collected and donated thousands of items such as board games, books, stuffed animals and toys to the patients and their families spending the holidays at NCH.

This year with the help of their twin siblings Brynn and Brandt, Leighton and Reid would like to once again donate items such as books, puzzles, board games, stuffed animals and small toys or other items which would be beneficial to patients under the age of 18 spending their holidays in the hospital. Since the inception of this project Leighton and Reid’s main goal has always been to ensure that every child spending their holiday at NCH wakes up Christmas morning to a surprise which will hopefully shed a little light on their holiday stay in the hospital. Leighton, Reid, Brynn and Brandt appreciate any donation you are able to spare, your generosity and kindness are greatly appreciated.

With a message of hope and kindness, Leighton, Reid, Brynn and Brandt in partnership with our friends up north- St. Nicks Army, The Linder kids would like to invite their many friends, family, classmates and teachers to join us on our adventure to shed cheer and joy to the NCH patients this holiday.

If you are able to help, please donate whatever amount you are able. 100% of ALL DONATIONS go towards purchasing items/goods for the patients at Nationwide Children's Hospital this 2023 Holiday Season.

We will be doing our shopping this season from December 16th-20th and will be dropping off all of our donated items to Nationwide Children's Hospital on December 21st.
