Help Patience Get a New Service Dog

My name is Patience, and I am raising funds to bring a new service dog into my life. My current service dog is approaching retirement age, and I want to ensure he can enjoy his well-deserved rest while I continue to have the support I need. Living with arthritis, POTS, and fibromyalgia means I face daily challenges with mobility, balance, and completing basic tasks. Without a service dog, I struggle to walk steadily, open doors, reach elevator buttons, and even undress. These obstacles make everyday life much more difficult and limit my independence.

A new service dog will be trained to assist me with mobility and balance, open doors, retrieve objects, press elevator buttons, pay at store counters, open the fridge and freezer, and help me undress. They will also be trained to retrieve medication for my migraines and press an emergency button to call for help if needed. This level of support will allow me to manage my health conditions more effectively and maintain my independence. I am currently on a two-year waitlist for a new service dog, and the funds raised will go toward the cost of the dog, their training, ongoing care, and the expenses for our team training and boarding.
