To know Pati is to love Pati! Let's get her to the World Association for Working Equitation World Championships!

As many of you know, Pati has embarked on a new and exciting horse journey over the last year and a half. Along with Gwen Kleinschmidt’s incredible horse Tiago, she has competed at the highest levels of Working Equitation in the United States. After only a handful of shows, Pati and Tiago were ranked as the number five horse/rider pair in the U.S. for 2025, and Pati recently won our first regional WAWE Qualifier event in Texas for the year over the weekend of March 20th – 22nd. Pati has qualified for the 2026 WAWE Working Equitation World Championships in Spain in September and has declared as a candidate to ride for the USA Working Equitation team at those championships.

The selection process involves several steps and team members have yet to be named, but Pati hopes to be selected to represent the United States. In preparation, she is making a trip to Spain in early April to train with a top-level rider, a trip in May to compete at a WE show, and then a return in September for the championships. It is here that I ask for your help. As Pati starts her preparations for Spain, the level of time, commitment, and financial cost increase substantially. She cannot make this journey on her own, but I know she is dedicated to helping to increase recognition of the sport in the US, representing her country in the sport she has come to love, and showcasing the incredible benefits that Working Equitation has for both horse and rider.

Pati’s expenses will include travel, training with a top-level rider, access to an international quality horse for the competitions, competition fees, and accommodations. Any contribution, big or small, will help get her one step closer to representing the USA. Should Pati not be selected for the team, a percentage of donated funds will go to the U.S. team to assist with their expenses, and the remainder will be used for Pati’s continued training and education in the sport.
