PLEASE HELP MY STUDENTS DANCE FROM BROOKLYN TO CHICAGO FOR "A DEEPLY ROOTED" EXPERIENCE!

My name is Marcella Jones. I have been teaching dance in the NYC Department of Education for 30 years. Educating young dancers, in East New York Brooklyn at Performing Arts & Technology High School has been my labor of love for the last 20 years. At PATHS my dancers major in dance for 4 years, from 9th-12th grade. They train in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Hip Hop, Majorette and African dance. I believe it is important that my young dancers are educated outside of the walls of our small studio. PATHSDANCERS are learning that dance is a profession, and I want them to aim hgh. I want them to experience the richness of the professional dance world, and learn to be curious and confident instead of timid and fearful. That is why PATHSDANCE is continuing the journey by traveling from Brooklyn to Chicago to be trained by the world renowned professional dance company Deeply Rooted, from April 13th-April 21st 2025.
