Help Patchouli Recover from Medical and Personal Loss

Update! So I just got out the hospital. I was admitted due to a bacterial infection of left lymph nodes on my neck. Due to the infection it formed a giant abscess that needed to be surgically drained (photo at bottom of the page). I’m about 2 weeks out of surgery and recovering well. But due to this I’ve been out of work for nearly a month unable to have any income/ potential lost my job (my employer has not informed me I’ve been fired but I was removed completely from the scheduling app we use) so my need of assistance has grown exponentially to those willing to help.
To everyone who has already helped me thank you so very much as it allowed me to take time and go to the hospital to get myself the healing I needed.
Hello,
Many of you may know me while many of you might not. My name is Patchouli, a trans woman living in South City, St. Louis. I’ve recently come into a stretch of what one could call bad luck. Over the last month, I discovered I had tonsillitis, which was luckily dealt with; however, it led to a serious case of mono.
Today, I was able to finally get the treatment necessary for that, which is a blessing. However, upon waking up this morning, I found that my only means of transportation, my pride and joy, my 2023 Honda Metropolitan Moped, had been stolen from my backyard while locked up tight. This came as a really big shock to me and left me feeling pretty rough. The last heartbreak from the morning was when my father called me to tell me he needed me to “man up and get over this woman bullshit.” I never saw him as the type of man who would cast me aside for his political views, and to have it happen while in the urgent care bed on an IV drip was so disheartening.

I’ve always seen myself as someone who pushes through anything she’s given or life throws at her, that doesn’t need to ask for help. But I’m scared, and I really need help.

When it comes to asking for money, I’m looking for $1,500 to cover the ludicrous medical bills that this has left me with and then the remaining $1,000 to go towards my bills for the work I’ve lost from being in and out. Anything extra that I receive would be put towards getting a new moped, but that is the least of my concerns at this moment in time.
To anyone and everyone who took the time to read this, thank you.
