Support Pat's Journey to Weight Loss Surgery

Hello friends, family, and random internet good samaritans!
Patricia Wilson-Smith here, and boy, I have news! After a journey that can only be described as a lifelong roller coaster ride of epic proportions, I’ve done it! I’ve lost an enormous amount of weight, and now, I’m finally qualified for weight loss surgery. Cue the confetti!
Now, before you start thinking, “Oh great, another sob story,” let me assure you, this is no pity party. This is an opportunity! You see, I’ve decided to give all of you lovely people who have cheered me on, supported me, and occasionally offered me a slice of cake (no judgment, it was delicious) a chance to chip in and help me reach the finish line. And no, I’m not talking about buying me a celebratory cake.
Weight loss surgery isn’t just the cherry on top of this weight loss sundae (though I do miss sundaes). It’s a necessary step to help me live a healthier, happier life. And let’s be real, who wouldn’t want to see me pimpin' around, looking fabulous and cracking jokes about my “before” pictures?
So here I am, fiercely independent and usually too stubborn to ask for help, humbly reaching out to you. I need to raise $25,000 for the surgery, and every little bit helps. Whether you can donate $5 or $500, your contribution will go directly towards my medical expenses. Please don't make me post photos of my saggy skin. Because I will.
Here’s the deal: I’ve done the hard part (trust me, sweating through those workouts was no joke), and now I need a little help from my friends and family to get through this final hurdle. Plus, if you donate, you get the added bonus of knowing I'll stop posting pictures of myself. Eventually. What’s not to love?
The ones that know me know that even WRITING this is practically killing me, but someone thought that the people who have loved and supported me through all this might want to help. You all may be as surprised as I am that I'm here, but here I am.
Thank you in advance and from the bottom of my much healthier heart for your support, your love, and your donations.
With all my love and gratitude (and a promise to keep walking no matter what),
Pat
