Help Pat (Vega) Morren Beat Cancer Healthfully!

Many of you know Mike and Pat Morren: hard working, principle driven, self-employed, contributing to the church and community their generous love and hospitality.  They have four amazing daughters, two grandchildren, with another on the way!

In October 2017, Pat was diagnosed with Colon cancer.  After surgery to remove a tumor the size of an orange, she went through the recommended course of chemotherapy.  This six month treatment wracked her body leaving her with brain fog, exhaustion, and permanent nerve damage to her feet.  It is painful for her to walk to this day.

A year and a half ago, the cancer returned and metastasized to her liver.  The doctors removed 1/3 of her liver and encouraged her to start chemo again, but she was still very weak from that first round.  She couldn’t imagine going through that again.  So she began to explore other ways of healing.  Every four months she would have her body reviewed by the doctors and each time she had a positive outcome until this November when two lesions appeared on her liver along with two “concerning” lymph nodes.  This was a blow, especially since they had just gone through the death of Mike’s dad due to Covid complications.

As they explored other options, she was accepted into Brio-Medical Center in Scottsdale, Arizona for their wholistic treatment program. https://brio-medical.com/  This is a six week program costing $38,000.  Pat and Mike took a huge step of faith to join this treatment, as it is not covered by insurance.
