Hi, my name is Peggy Chmiel, and I have had the pleasure of having Tim Harlan as my fused glass instructor. Tim is well known in the art community and as a Newport Fire Fighter for 33 years. Pat and he met after she inquired about his glass art. Pat was an art teacher for 30 years all around the country. The last 20 years were at St Margaret's in San Juan Capistrano.

Pat suffered a stroke while at home in September 2021. After being hospitalized for several months, she returned home at the beginning of January. Her transition to home was challenging. She has a caregiver during the day to help her while Tim is away, keeping the home front functioning. However, the love they both have to make this work has prevailed.

My hope in creating this GoFundMe is to help give care to Pat while at home. They are truly a lovely couple, and Tim's main desire is to have Pat at home where she is comfortable. Knowing the cost of such care is overwhelming, and I felt the focus should be more on providing care for Pat than finances.

Please help Pat stay at home, and any amount will be appreciated. Most importantly, pray for Pat and Tim. Please share this site with others.
