Pat Nystrom is an 82-year-old woman who is being forced to leave the home she has lived in for the past 15 years after the property owners decided to sell the house. This home holds a lifetime of memories for Pat and her family. She lived there with her husband and granddaughter, both of whom have sadly passed away. Her granddaughter tragically lost her life at just 25 years old due to an unexpected passing. Pat’s husband was a proud Airborne Infantry veteran of the Korean War who served two tours. He was a devoted husband, father of three, grandfather of eight, and great-grandfather of six.

Pat is now facing the heartbreaking reality of having to leave the family home while living on a fixed income. At 82 years old, finding affordable housing that can also accommodate her age and needs has become incredibly difficult and overwhelming.
