You might have heard Texas has had one hell of a month. After my Mom, a front line worker, went without electricity and water for seven days, she returned to work and after a grueling day, month, and year- when all she needed was a shower and to lay her head down on her own pillow after being displaced for a week - she returned home to find a squishy flooded apartment mess. The entire apartment is in need of repairs, flooring, walls, cabinets, everything. We’ve already begun the clean up efforts and while we will get through this together but our resources are limited. This lady has worked tirelessly her entire life and can’t ever seem to get ahead. Loss of income compiled with a natural disaster is devastating.
She would never ask for help but I am asking. Any funds would be directly used to store her items while her apartment is in disrepair and to replace any essentials that have been lost to the devastation. Thank you for at least reading through.
