Navy Vet Pat & Gloria Financial & Medical expenses

This fund is established to cover Pat and Gloria’s medical expenses, bills, and food. I would have never thought that I would begin a gofund me, however, my family has been struggling financially. My grandfather (Pat) who is a Navy Veteran (U.S. Navy military 1959-1965 on the USS Roosevelt CVA 42 as a Third class petty officer ) has been battling cancer. He was first diagnosed with non hodgkin's lymphoma 16 years ago in which caused a big financial burden on him and my grandmother (Gloria). He had to stop working immediately and my grandmother was laid off from her factory job. They are trying to live off of social security in which is a fixed income and they can barely make it due to medical expenses. 

He  was in remission for 12 years then the cancer came back stronger. Now he has multiple myeloma in which he will be on chemo for the rest of his life. The medication itself is expensive in which he has to take 4-5 different medications. Due to the expense of the medications they barely have money for food or to pay bills. We try to help them as much as we can, but we can only help but so much due to our own expenses.
