Help Pat After a House Flood Destroyed Her Home

Our amazing and thoughtful Resident Assistant Pat Grigsby, who has been at Brightondale for over 20 years, came home last night after working a 16 hour day and found her home flooded, ceiling collapsed, everything damaged. It will take 4-6 months to repair and Pat needs our support during this difficult time while she lives elsewhere and buys all the food, clothing and personal supplies that she will need. She needs time off of work while she works through this and she may also need to drive further when she returns to work and may need money for gas.

Pat has worked with the residents of Brightondale Assisted Living in New Brighton for over 20 years. Residents, families and coworkers all know her as a caring, dependable person who goes out of her way to bring a smile to everyone! Pat is top notch at her job- the nurses and families depend on her to deliver the care our seniors need, handle medical emergencies and injuries with our frail residents and communicate what would make their lives better and she does all of that!!
