Two months ago, Jenni, a beautiful, compassionate woman with a heart that radiates kindness, went in for what was supposed to be a routine outpatient surgery. She was sent home soon after, but within hours, her world took a sudden and painful turn. Severe pain and nausea brought Jenni back to the hospital, and what followed was a harrowing and uncertain time. This all unfolded just before Christmas, a time when joy and family should fill the air, but instead, Jenni’s family found themselves facing an agonizing, day-by-day battle for her health.

For a while, things were touch and go. Jenni fought with everything she had, and through each twist and turn, Stu, her devoted husband of 28 years, stayed by her side, never leaving her, always encouraging, always praying. Their love for each other, built over nearly three decades of marriage, has been nothing short of inspiring. Their relationship began in the early days of the internet, when they met on AOL (yes, that far back!), and it blossomed into a beautiful partnership that has been a shining example of love, faith, and commitment.

Stu, a pastor for 34 years and 43 years in ministry, has always been a beacon of strength and guidance for others. He has served his community with humility and compassion, always giving so much of himself to those in need. But now, it’s his turn to be the one supported. And that’s where we come in.

Stu and Jenni’s lovely daughter, Christa, has also been a constant source of love and support throughout this challenging time, but as you can imagine, this has been an overwhelming journey for their entire family.
