In February of 2026, Pastor Ronnie San Diego suffered a heart attack. He was diagnosed at the Philippine Heart Center with coronary artery disease, 3 Vessel disease with left main involvement. He was advised to undergo urgent open heart coronary bypass surgery (triple bypass) which would cost around 1.4 million Philippine Peso ($24,000). While the Philippine government may be able to cover a portion of his medical expenses, he needs 400,000 PHP ($6,900) initial deposit for him to get admitted to the hospital and start treatment.

Resources are limited when it comes to medical assistance in the Philippines and it’s unfortunate that patients’ lives are at risk while waiting for financial provisions to get a lifesaving operation.

For 45 years, Pastor Ronnie has dedicated his life to serving the Lord. He started as a church worker at the age of 18 and continued as

a preacher and eventually decided to pursue his calling and became a pastor. Pastor Ronnie has led the ministry at Word of Life Baptist Church in Botolan, Zambales, Philippines since 2002.
