Late in the evening of Sunday, May 10, Pastor Matt Frayer and his wife Rena, along with their two children, Ashlee and Josh, lost their home and most of their belongings to a terrible fire. As leaders of the Bible Baptist Church on Silver Street, Norwich NY. Matt and Rena have dedicated their lives to serving others and supporting their community, even while facing many personal hardships. Just a couple of years ago, Rena’s younger brother died in a tragic accident, and more recently, Pastor Matt suffered a brain aneurysm. Despite these challenges, they have never turned away anyone in need of their support or friendship. Rena kept friends, family, and their congregation updated every day, showing strength and compassion even in the most difficult times.

Now, after this devastating fire, Matt, Rena, Ashlee, and Josh are in urgent need of help themselves. The funds raised will go directly toward providing them with temporary housing and financial support as they work to rebuild their lives.
