Help Pastor Brian cover moped crash expenses

Hi, my name is David Childs, and Brian Childs is my dad. You may have heard that he was in a moped crash while vacationing in Thailand with us. As a result of his serious injuries, his planned 17-day trip became a 46-day excursion while he waited to heal enough to be deemed “fit to fly” and return home.

Thankfully, he had medical travel insurance which covered the majority of his expenses, including his hospital stay from March 19-31.

Even so, there were significant out of pocket expenses that accrued to him due to insurance exclusions and limits. I am reaching out on his behalf to ask for help in covering these costs (approximately $7500).

At times like this, many choose to just buckle down and bear the burden on their own. I've been there before when my wife had some medical issues - we just toughed it out and afterwards, those close to us asked "why didn't you ask for help?".

I think this is a time when a little extra generosity from those close to him would speak volumes as he navigates challenges on the way to recovery.
