Help Pascal Recover from Devastating Accident

Hey everyone, my name is Pascal, and I still can’t believe what happened to me.

Yesterday, I was riding my minibike through my neighborhood, and not even 10 minutes into my ride, I had become a victim of an almost fatal car crash. A car came speeding down the wrong side of the road and hit me full speed. Although this collision was not my fault, I will unfortunately be taking the brunt of it for the rest of my life.

I remember getting the wind knocked out of me and hitting the ground harder than I could fathom. I didn’t pass out or go unconscious, I was awake the whole time and felt every second of it.  While in shock I tried to get up, and that’s when I realized, I no longer had control of my limbs. I couldn’t move. When I looked down, I saw both of my legs were turned in ways I didn’t think was possible. It was like an out-of-body experience. The only thing I could feel was fear. All I could do was pray and ask the driver who hit me, “Please don’t leave me here… please call 911.” I feared that I was taking my last breaths.

I was rushed to the hospital, in an ambulance and they immediately began working on me. The doctors told me both of my femurs and my shin were shattered and that I have multiple other injuries, and this is just the beginning. I’ll need more surgeries, months of physical therapy, and help doing even the most basic things.

I’m 23, and this has flipped my whole life upside down. I can’t work. I can’t walk. I can’t even stand. I’ve always tried to handle things on my own, but right now I can’t do this without support.

That’s why I’m starting this GoFundMe. I need help covering the cost of my hospital bills, recovery equipment, therapy, and basic living expenses while I heal. Any amount will help me take one step closer to getting my life back, and if you can’t donate, just sharing this would mean everything.
