Help Parviz Replace His Stolen Bike and Get Back to Work

Today, at around 8:31pm, we witnessed something truly heartbreaking outside the Embassy Gardens in Nine Elms. Parviz, a Deliveroo rider and a hardworking, gentle older man, had his bike stolen right in front of us while he was making a delivery. Two young men forced open the side door of the building and ran off with his bike, his only means of earning a living.
When Parviz realised what had happened, he was devastated and broke down, it was clear how much this loss meant to him. Even more upsetting is that this is the second time his bike has been stolen in this same area. Despite how vital the bike is to his job, Deliveroo does not insure riders for theft, leaving him with no support. He had only recently purchased this new bike for £2,000, a HUGE investment for him.
We are hoping that the Nine Elms community can come together to show Parviz kindness and support, especially when both the police and Deliveroo are unable to help in this situation. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference in helping him get back on his feet and continue earning his livelihood.
Let’s raise £2,000 to buy Parviz a new bike and show him that there is still compassion and solidarity in our community.
Thank you so much for your generosity and for helping restore hope for someone who truly deserves it.
