With this year already being a particularly tough year for my sister and brother-in-law, this week they got the news that their 4 year old golden retriever, Parker, was diagnosed with a high grade Mast Cell Tumor. An aggressive form of cancer that has already required extensive testing and will require multiple surgeries, chemotherapy treatment and ongoing veterinary care.
Parky has brought so much light and laughter into their home. As most animal lovers would agree, Parker is an important part of our family’s lives and means absolutely everything to my sister and brother-in-law.
Parker is the sweetest, most loving, snuggliest, goofiest boy, yet the sneakiest, most devious, food motivated golden you'll ever meet. From his goofy good morning grins, and boundless energy, plus his mischievous antics of table surfing and stealing socks keeps us all smiling even on the toughest days.
As mentioned, 2025 has already been an incredibly challenging year for this family. As they have endured the heartbreak of two miscarriages, leaving them with countless medical bills from the many hospital and specialists visits.
Now, while still carrying the emotional weight of those losses plus the financial burden they’ve been left with, they are facing another unimaginable challenge: Parker’s cancer diagnosis. After everything they’ve already endured this year, the emotional and financial strain has become overwhelming.
I ask that you please consider donating to help offset the significant medical costs needed to support this family and Parker during his treatment.
Any amount, big or small, will go directly towards Parker's testing, surgeries, chemotherapy, medications, and post treatment care. Your generosity will help give Parker a fighting chance. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your compassion, support, and prayers.
