My name is Tyler Nance and as the older brother, I’ve always felt it was my job to protect my younger brother, Parker. But, this is one situation I can’t fix on my own. Parker is facing a medical crisis that is taking a toll on his young family. With humility and hope, I am asking for help so he can receive the care he needs and focus on getting better.
Parker is only 40 years old. He and Laney have a beautiful 9-month old baby girl, Layla Claire. He works a job that requires him to stand all day, and when hip pain first began, he assumed it was sciatica. He tried everything he could: ibuprofen, exercises, and pushing through the pain. Unfortunately, it only grew worse. The pain became constant — at work and at home — with no relief. After multiple doctor visits and failed treatments, Parker finally received an MRI on Christmas Eve 2025. The pain was so severe it took three attempts just to complete the scan. The results were devastating. Parker was diagnosed with Avascular Necrosis of the Femoral Head — his hip joint was fractured and deteriorating. This wasn’t caused by an injury; doctors believe it was genetic, as our uncle required both hips replaced at age 40 as well.
Today, Parker cannot stand for more than 10 minutes without extreme pain and is unable to work consistently. The good news is that hip replacement surgery will give Parker his life back — allowing him to work, walk without pain, and simply carry his baby again. However, the surgery comes with a huge upfront medical deductible, along with lost wages during recovery. This GoFundMe is to help cover those medical costs and support Parker and his family while he is unable to work. Any donation, no matter the size, makes a meaningful difference. If you’re unable to give, please consider sharing this page and keeping Parker and his family in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you for helping us get Parker back on his feet — walking, working, and enjoying life with his family again.
