Parisa’s life changed in an instant. She was a passenger on what should have been a normal trip when the car suddenly crashed. While the driver walked away with minor injuries, Parisa didn’t get that same outcome. She was rushed to the ICU with devastating injuries. Her back was broken in four places, multiple broken ribs, a broken arm and leg, and severe trauma throughout her body. She endured four major surgeries and spent weeks unable to move, barely able to open her eyes, and in unimaginable pain. At times, the pain was so intense she had to be heavily sedated just to get through it.
For weeks, she was completely bedridden, unable to sit up, feed herself, or do even the most basic things we take for granted. The girl who was once independent and full of life suddenly needed help for everything. Her family has been by her side every single day, watching her fight through moments no one should have to experience. Slowly, she’s beginning to respond and improves daily but her journey is far from over. Parisa now faces months of recovery, including intensive rehabilitation, and will likely be in a wheelchair as she works to rebuild her strength and her life.
No one is ever prepared for something like this: physically, emotionally, or financially. Parisa has had the emotional support of her loving parents and a few close friends, who have been by her side throughout her recovery. As she continues her journey, she is bravely working to rebuild her life on her own, drawing strength from those around her and the kindness of her community.
We want to be transparent about our goal. Parisa’s injuries are severe and life-altering. Between her ICU stay, multiple surgeries, ongoing medical care, and the months of rehabilitation ahead, the financial impact is overwhelming. In addition to medical expenses, she will be unable to work for an extended period of time and still has everyday living costs to cover. We’ve set this goal to help support:
• Medical bills and ongoing treatment
• Physical rehabilitation and recovery care
• Basic living expenses while she is unable to work
Any amount raised will go directly toward helping Parisa focus on healing without the added stress of financial hardship.
If you’re unable to donate, simply sharing her story can make a meaningful difference. Thank you for being part of Parisa’s fight.
