Help Paris Fight for His Life and His Son’s Future

Family, friends, and kind-hearted strangers,

I am reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for support for my brother, Paris Loving-J, a 33-year-old father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, coach, and true man of God. Paris has always been the one to show up for others—whether through his work, his nonprofit, or simply by being a light in someone’s darkest moment. Now, he is the one who needs help.

Paris is the proud father of a 13-year-old son, his greatest joy and motivation in life. Their bond is unbreakable. Paris has always done everything in his power to be present for his son and to guide him, not only as a father but as a role model.

For the past 5+ years, Paris has worked in the mental health field and founded his nonprofit, HEB1313, where he has organized food drives, youth programs, community outreach events, and public speaking. He’s also dedicated countless hours to coaching youth football, pouring his love, discipline, and wisdom into young men—teaching them lessons that stretch far beyond the football field.

But in 2023, Paris’s health took a devastating turn. After suffering multiple blood clots, he endured a venous brain bleed that led to a mild stroke. Overnight, his life changed. He had to relearn daily living skills and fight his way back with intensive physical and occupational therapy—something he pushed through with incredible strength and faith in God.

Unfortunately, his health struggles didn’t stop there. Paris has been battling:

• Crohn’s Disease (which led to major surgery removing 180 cm of his small bowel and left him with an ileostomy bag for 2 years)

• Blood clotting issues (DVT/PE) requiring lifelong anticoagulants

• An IVC filter and stent in his chest

• Pyoderma Gangrenosum

• Stroke in 2023

• Psoriasis of the liver (despite never being a drinker) – and he is now awaiting testing to be placed on the liver transplant list

Over the past two years, Paris has attempted to keep working, pushing himself through 5 different jobs, only to have his health force him to stop again and again. His dream has always been to provide for himself and his son, but the reality of his conditions has left him financially devastated. He is currently waiting for a decision on disability, but in the meantime, the bills and medical costs keep piling up.

Paris is the last person to ever ask for help. He has always been the giver, the helper, the one lifting others up. But today, he needs us. He needs his community. He needs anyone who can find it in their heart to give.
