Hi, My name is Paris Figuereo. I am currently a Junior in high school and will be graduating in 2023.

As a person who is constantly participating in extra circulars that help grow my professional and personal goals, I was especially pleased when I received an invite-only letter from the Dean of Admissions At George Mason University. This letter was to inform me that I had been selected to attend the National Youth Leadership Forum for Medicine with Envision. If you know me, you may know that I have a great desire to one day become a travel nurse, specifically a neonatal or a pediatric nurse. Attending the conference would give me the chance to discover and learn about my passion through hands-on medical experience. In the nine days attending, I would be able to attend one of many campuses across the US. One that I am very interested, and have been looking at for college, is UCLA. I would also get the experience of being a college student in the field, and learn from doctors and take part In interactive activities led by advisors and overall explore professional opportunities in the field.

Now you can imagine my excitement when receiving an invitation to this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, yet the price of tuition for the nine days has played a factor in my being able to attend. With the enrollment date being soon, February 16th, and the need to get in the down and monthly payments to the organization, I have created this Gofundme to ask for help in raising $4,000 that will go towards the tuition and the expenses of the trip. I am appreciative of any amount that can be given towards this funding and thank anyone who has taken the time to read this. Even if you are unable to give, I ask you to please share this as well.
