My name is Pares Gardner. I work in security at Kaiser Permanente.

Recently, my life changed in an instant when I was involved in a serious car accident that totaled my vehicle. Since then, things have been incredibly difficult—mentally, emotionally, and physically.

Losing my car has taken away more than just transportation—it's affected my ability to work, run errands, get groceries, attend appointments, and handle the basic tasks we often take for granted.

Right now, I’m going through one of the hardest times of my life, and I’m reaching out to friends, coworkers, and anyone who understands what it’s like to hit a rough patch.
