So I have never been one that is comfortable asking for help.  But at this point I have to try to do what I can to help my parents recover, clean up and rebuild.  Like so many I know my parents, Dale and Diana, were affected by the Carr Fire in Old Shasta, California.  They lost their bedroom, a bathroom, their laundry room, wash machine, dryer, freezer, three sheds, patio boat, dump trailer, camper, two vehicles, all my dads tools and yard tools,  too many belongings and keep sakes to list and their little dog wishbone.  My dad with the assistance of firefighters was able to save the main part of the house.  It suffered some damage and will need some work but we realize they are blessed for that.  I know so many that lost it all.  There is a great clean up effort that will be needed for all the destruction in the yard and structures lost and damaged, and then to rebuild and replace what they have lost.   They did not have fire insurance.  I am committed to doing all I can, but after being there in person and realized it is bigger than myself and family.  Thank you for anything even if it is a share or prayers.  All funds raised will be given directly to my parents to help them pay for all the stuff they have lost, and need to rebuild their house.   My heart goes out to all my friends as well that are in the same situation or worse.  I am committed to doing what I can for you as well.  We will make it through this together.  God Bless.
