Help Paramedic Rochel Ortiz Fight Cancer
Donation protected
Rochel started working with the City and County of Honolulu's Emergency Medical Services as an EMT 2004. In 2007, she completed Paramedic school, and has continued to serve her community since.
Rochel is not only our Paramedic classmate, but is also a very close friend, which is why it was devastating to hear that she was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma.
We have watched way too many friends and family members struggle with this disease, but we also know how the support of others can truly make a difference.
Rochel has just had her first two exhausting rounds of Chemotherapy, with many more to come. In addition to her everyday expenses and medical bills, there are also some alternative treatment options that will not covered by her insurance. We humbly ask for any small donation that you would like to contribute, to allow Rochel to focus on every aspect of her health without the added stress of bills accumulating.
For those of you within our First Responder Community, we will be sharing this link as well as other ways to contact us if you prefer to reach out personally.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and for all of the love and support being sent her way.
