Paradoja’s InstagramParadoja PlantBased was built from scratch with love, creativity, and the unwavering support of friends and family. Located in the heart of Río Piedras, Puerto Rico, we have dedicated ourselves to offering fresh, plant-based meals in a safe and inclusive space for our community.

This is a difficult step for us to take because every aspect of our journey has been funded and sustained by our hard work and the close support of those around us—without ever resorting to crowdfunding. However, today we need your assistance to raise $3,500 to reconnect our electricity.

Like many small businesses in Puerto Rico, we have faced ongoing challenges, from water and power outages to the rising cost of materials. The unexpected expense of reconnecting our electricity has placed a financial burden we cannot overcome alone. Why? Because we had a payment agreement with LUMA that they are no longer honoring due to unannounced changes in their policy. Now, we are being required to pay the remaining total amount of the original connecting service charge, plus a reconnecting fee within 15 days.
