My name is Paradise, and for many years I have dedicated myself to serving the Oakland community. The city has honored me with my own day—Paradise Day—in recognition of my efforts, and I have received numerous awards for my work. Now, as I look to the future, I am seeking support to turn more of my dreams into reality and continue uplifting others through creativity and service.
I am working on several projects that are close to my heart. I want to publish my own fashion magazine, which celebrates local talent and culture. Each 40-page issue is a labor of love, but printing costs add up quickly. I am also creating the Bay Area Black Hall of Fame to honor those who have made a lasting impact in our community, and each plaque is a meaningful tribute. In addition, I am eager to film a serious afromantic comedy called, "Gonna Find Me an Angel." I want to record my music and poetry—my piano album, Patanisian Jazz, and vastly promote my underground Hip Hop classic, "I Love Everything About You, But You!"
which has been called the song of the century. To bring all of this to life, I need a studio/apartment where I can create, store my art, and continue my work.
For years, I have been building Paradise Day as an international holiday—a day for people everywhere to celebrate creativity, discuss ways to manifest Paradise on earth, and build a worldwide community of artists and art lovers. I invite you to join me on this journey. Your support will help me publish, record, and create spaces for art and performance, not just in Oakland but around the world. Together, we can make a difference and inspire others to dream big.
